Commercial Pricing

There are two parts to the Orca3D Marine CFD package: the Orca3D plugin Analysis module and Simerics CFD. You need both parts to run a CFD simulation. Details on purchasing each part are shown below.

Orca3D plugin (Analysis module)

• If you currently have a license for the Orca3D Analysis module, you do not need to purchase another one.
• If you do not currently have Orca3D, you can purchase a license for the Analysis module for $1,500 (standalone license), or $1,875 (network license).

Orca3D Marine CFD

The Orca3D Marine CFD package (based on SimericsMP) may be purchased through Orca3D, LLC as a “full-time” license, or an “intermittent” license where you can turn the license on and off on a month by month or bi-weekly basis. Both include updates and technical support. If you use CFD on a regular basis, the full-time license would be best. If you use it on a part-time basis as projects come in, then an intermittent license would be most cost effective.

Licenses are available as Standalone and in some cases as floating Network licenses. Standalone Licenses are tied to a particular computer (although they can be transferred). Network licenses “float” on a network; any computer on the network can access it, but one license must be purchased for each simultaneous user. Network licenses add 15% to the price of the Standalone license.

Standard and Premium Versions

Prices below are for the Standard version. Premium version licenses are double the Standard version. Click here for a table showing the Standard and Premium version capabilities.

Cores

The prices below reflect support for up to 16 physical cores. For 32 cores, add 40% to the Standard price or 30% to the Premium price. For 64 cores, add 80% to the Standard price or 60% to the Premium price.
