Who can participate in the Orca3D Referral Program?
Any existing Orca3D customer in good standing with a commercial license can participate in the referral program.
What qualifies as a referral?
A referral qualifies when:
- You introduce a new company or organization to Orca3D
- The referred party is not already actively engaged in a sales process with Orca3D
- The referral results in a completed qualifying purchase
What rewards are available for commercial customers?
Commercial customers may receive either:
- A $500 Orca3D credit that can be applied toward renewals, additional seats, or new modules, or
- A free one-year Orca3D Design or Analysis module license (a $500 value)
The reward option may depend on the type of purchase completed by the referred customer.
When do rewards get issued?
Rewards are issued after:
- The referred customer completes a qualifying Orca3D purchase, and
- Payment has been received by Orca3D
Can I refer more than one customer?
Yes. There is no limit to the number of referrals you can submit.
Can I refer both students and commercial companies?
No. Educational users may not participate in this program.
How do I submit a referral?
Referrals begin when a new customer lists you as the referring party while completing either:
- the Orca3D Free Trial Download, or
- the Request a Quote
We’re intentionally keeping the process simple and lightweight so customers can make introductions naturally as part of their existing professional relationships.
What purchases qualify for the program?
Generally, any new commercial Orca3D module purchase qualifies. Certain exclusions may apply depending on the situation.
Do student licenses qualify as commercial referrals?
Student licenses do not qualify for this program as they are already highly discounted.
Are reseller-managed sales eligible?
No. Sales handled directly through Orca3D resellers are not eligible for referral rewards.
Is this an affiliate or commission program?
No. This is not a commission or reseller program. The goal is simply to thank existing customers who help introduce Orca3D to others in the marine design community.
Can rewards be transferred or redeemed for cash?
No. Referral rewards are non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
