Negative Transom Height?
«
on:

Hi, in the sailboat assistant when I try to enter a negative transom height, the shape updates in Rhino, but the assistant says this is an invalid entry and will not allow me to continue with this negative value. I need the keel height of the transom to be under the water, similar to what you can do with the planing hull assistant. What can I do?
Thanks,
Grant

Hi Grant,
We have corrected the transom height bug so you can interactively enter a negative value in the sailboat hull assistant. Unfortunately that fix won't be available until the next release. In the meantime, you can use the scriptable version of the command by typing, "-OrcaCreateSailboat" at the command line and entering the negative transom height.
