Diagonals a bit unintuitive

Hi, when creating diagonals you can enter the 'location' or the 'start' which sets the distance out from the centerline on the water plane where the diagonal cuts through. Now I am not a professional, but have drawn a few sets of lines, and for me it was much more intuitive to measure the distance up the center line where the diagonal will cut the vertical longitutidinal center plane, and then work with an angle between the diagonal and that plane. This makes it easy to start several diagonals from the same height, changing the angle. The way it works now the diagonals cut the vertical longitudinal center plane in uncontrollable locations.
Thus, I suggest the 'location' be vertical, not horizontal.
Cheers,
Grant

Grant:
I agree with your description of how the definition of diagonals should work, and that was our intent. Unfortunately, the program behaves as you describe, but it will be fixed before the next release.
Thanks for your input.
