Hi Klaus,
We have not yet implemented this capability but are currently working on a new release of Orca3D in which we plan to allow grouping of the weight report items by layer. Thus if you put deck equipment on one layer, rigging on another, etc the results would be so grouped. Would report grouping by layer meet your needs?

I should add that we will also allow the option to group items in the weight report by Rhino object group.

hi Larry, that would suit my needs, are those groups summed as a sub-total to identify the groups weight?

Hi Klaus,
Assuming you would like the answer to be yes, we will add that to our implementation requirements. Thanks for the feedback. It is helpful to our development process.
