Hi, I love the new Lines Plan Drawing feature in Orca 3D WIP 3

but I noticed it only shows half the Hull on the body plan (Front View)

In Naval Architecture we are taught to draw all the stations in the body plan view, so I request that this be an option for WIP 4.

I'd like to be able to generate the full hull in the body plan view showing the front 5 stations on the right, and the latter 5 stations on the left.

Look at this Lines Plan, you see the body plan view? That's what needs to be incorporated in Orca3D WIP 4

I've attached a picture of my Lines Plan Drawing to demonstrate.

Thank you for the input regarding the lines drawing functionality. The version in WIP 3 is a first cut with modest capabilities. As you have noted, we plot all of the defined stations on one side of centerline in the body plan view. There are various other issues such as labeling which are not addressed either. We are working to extend the lines drawing capability for the next release. As always your input is valuable in helping us to determine how best to add this capability. Keep the input coming.

Just curious, using the planing hull assistant to make a hull, the create line drawing feature only opens the dialog, but when I click OK, it just disappears and nothing is generated. Am I doint something wrong?
Cheers,

You have to define some Orca sections before creating a lines drawing. We use the user-defined Orca sections in the lines drawing. No sections no drawing. We have modified the code to issue a notice to the user if there are no sections defined when trying to create a lines drawing.
